Fees and Payment Information
At La Fontaine Source De Jeunesse Cosmetic Surgery Clinic, a detailed breakdown of all fees will be provided prior to treatment. Fees typically include surgeon fees, anesthesia fees, operating room fees, recovery services, and any applicable medical supplies such as implants or devices when required.
All initial consultation fees are payable at the time of the appointment. Consultation fees are non-refundable. If a patient proceeds with surgery, the consultation fee may be applied toward the total surgical cost, where applicable.
Cosmetic surgical procedures are subject to applicable taxes, including HST.
Accepted methods of payment include cash, credit card, certified cheque, and money order.
A deposit of 25% is required at the time a surgical date is scheduled. This deposit is used to reserve surgical time and allocate necessary clinical resources, including operating room time, anesthesia services, and nursing staff.
The remaining balance must be paid in full at least four (4) weeks prior to the scheduled surgery date.
Quotes provided following consultation are valid for a period of six (6) months. After this period, a follow-up consultation may be required.
Cancellation Policy
Surgical scheduling involves coordination between the clinic, surgical facility, anesthesia team, and clinical staff. In addition, procedure-specific equipment and supplies are prepared in advance.
For this reason, the following cancellation policy applies:
-
- The deposit is non-refundable once a surgical date is confirmed.
- Cancellations made 15–21 days prior to the scheduled procedure will result in 25% of total fees being retained.
- Cancellations made 8–14 days prior to the scheduled procedure will result in 35% of total fees being retained.
- Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to the scheduled procedure will result in 50% of total fees being retained.
- Cancellations made 1 day or less prior to the scheduled procedure will result in 100% of fees being retained.
All outstanding balances must be settled prior to scheduling future appointments.
Rescheduling Policy
Requests to reschedule a procedure must be made at least two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled surgery date.
Rescheduling requests made within two (2) weeks of the scheduled procedure may be subject to an administrative fee of up to 15% of the total surgical fee.
Revision Surgery
Revision surgery may be considered in cases where further correction or refinement is required following an initial procedure. Reasons may include healing variation, anatomical considerations, complications, or prior surgery performed elsewhere.
Revision procedures may be more complex than the initial surgery due to factors such as scar tissue, altered anatomy, or changes in tissue characteristics. This may impact surgical planning, duration, and resources required.
Fees for revision surgery are determined on a case-by-case basis and may include surgeon fees, facility fees, anesthesia fees, follow-up care, and any additional materials required.
In certain cases, a reduced fee may be considered depending on the timing and clinical circumstances.
Patients considering revision surgery are advised to schedule a consultation for clinical assessment and individualized recommendations.
