Threadlift
Silhouette Instalift®
The Silhouette InstaLift® is a minimally invasive, absorbable suspension suture system used in facial aesthetic procedures. It utilizes bi-directional cones designed to help support and reposition subdermal facial tissue. The sutures and cones are made from glycolide/L-lactide (PLGA), a biocompatible material that is gradually absorbed by the body over time. In addition to providing mechanical lift, the procedure may stimulate a localized tissue response associated with collagen production during the healing process.
Silhouette InstaLift® is intended for mid-face tissue repositioning and may be considered in appropriately selected patients as part of a non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatment plan. As with all cosmetic procedures, results vary between individuals. A consultation with a qualified healthcare professional is required to determine suitability and to review risks, benefits, limitations, and expected outcomes.

Silhouette InstaLift® Overview
Silhouette InstaLift® is a minimally invasive thread lift procedure designed to provide an immediate improvement in facial contouring, with potential longer-term changes related to the body’s natural healing response. The procedure is performed in a medical setting and typically takes less than one hour. It is associated with minimal downtime, although temporary effects such as bruising, swelling, and tenderness may occur and generally resolve within a few days. Most patients are able to resume normal daily activities shortly after treatment, depending on individual recovery.
Silhouette InstaLift® uses absorbable sutures made of poly lactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA), a biocompatible and biodegradable material commonly used in medical devices. The sutures include small cones designed to help support and reposition soft tissue within the mid-face. This technique is intended to provide mechanical tissue support while the sutures are gradually absorbed over time. Any changes related to collagen production or tissue response vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed. As with all cosmetic procedures, outcomes differ from patient to patient. A consultation with a qualified healthcare professional is required to determine suitability and to review potential risks, benefits, and limitations.
Before & After
Frequently Asked Questions: Silhouette InstaLift®
Q. Is Silhouette InstaLift® FDA cleared?

Silhouette InstaLift® may be considered for individuals seeking a minimally invasive option to improve mild to moderate facial sagging, particularly in the mid-face. Suitable candidates generally have good overall skin quality and realistic expectations regarding outcomes. Suitability is determined on an individual basis during consultation.
Q. What are Silhouette InstaLift® sutures made of?
Silhouette InstaLift® sutures are made from glycolide/L-lactide (PLGA), a biocompatible and absorbable polymer used in medical devices. The sutures include bi-directional cones designed to support tissue repositioning during healing before gradually being absorbed by the body.
Q. What can Silhouette InstaLift® do to improve appearance?
This procedure is designed to help improve the appearance of mild to moderate facial laxity by repositioning deeper facial tissues, which may result in a more refreshed and youthful facial contour.
Q. What areas of the face does Silhouette InstaLift® treat?
The procedure is primarily used to address the mid-face and cheek area.
Q. How is the Silhouette InstaLift® procedure performed?
During an in-office procedure, a trained physician marks the treatment areas and inserts absorbable sutures beneath the skin using a minimally invasive technique. The sutures are positioned within the subcutaneous tissue to support tissue repositioning. The procedure typically takes approximately 45 minutes and is generally performed under local anesthesia.
Q. Is general anesthesia required?
General anesthesia is not typically required. A local anesthetic is usually used to numb the treatment area prior to the procedure.
